The solution for wider openings
Is your opening wider than 80 cm? With the 9 cm wide extension, you can flexibly extend your Open N Stop 2, Clear Step 2 or Clear Step Autoclose 2 base gate, and combine it with a 21 cm extension too. Up to two extensions per gate are possible.

Finding the right width
Simply add the width of the extension to the gate's adjustable base width of 75 to 80 cm. This gives you the following widths: +9 cm to 84-89 cm, +2x9 cm to 93-98 cm, +21 cm to 96-101 cm, +9 cm + 21 cm to 105-110 cm, +2x21 cm to 117-122 cm.

Easy to fit
Quick, simple and sturdy: using the included pins, you attach the extension to the right or left of the hauck child safety gate. You then fit the gate's adjustment screws onto the extension.

Compatible with Y-spindles
Just like the hauck door safety gates, the extension is also compatible with the hauck Y-spindles. You'll need these to fit the gate to a stair railing with round spindles.
